Lo(s)t In Transition(s)! focuses on the shifting landscapes and societal changes in the Vallée du Lot. In times of social and climatic challenges, ‘transition’ is often seen as a necessary shift—but what does this mean? Is it a gradual evolution or a radical break? What paths lie ahead, and how can we, as citizens, artists, and architects, respond?

Rather than engaging solely in theoretical or political discourse, the artistic work is rooted directly in the valley’s reality. It embraces the unknown, documents transformations, and tells the story of this evolving landscape. Together, we embark on a journey of discovery, seeking new shared points of reference.

The installations in villages and natural spaces make the valley’s challenges visible and narrate its story. They shape a hopeful vision for the future—an invitation to explore new ways of living together and to foster sustainable collaborations.
